Join us at the pool on Saturday, May 5th at Noon for a Scofield Ridge Cinco De Mayo Celebration.

We’ll have a nacho bar, a pinata for los ninos as well as a juggler/balloon-twister for your entertainment. Sodas, water and juice will be also be available.

Los ninos, make sure to be at the party by 12:30-ish for your chance to take a swing at the pinata! Remember to bring your swim gear, the pool is open!  Amigos, dig out your favorite homemade salsa recipe, because we are holding a recipe contest! Entries must be prepared and brought to the pool by Noon for judging by your peers. Prizes awarded.

Saturday April 14th

8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Christopher Charles, landscape architect from the COA, and Mark Hess of Hess Lawns, will present a xeriscape class teaching us how to choose plants, water needs, maintenance, and just getting started with the whole xeriscape experience. Mark will also update us on the latest COA guidelines on sprinkler systems and explain how to choose the most efficient sprinkler heads.

If it is convenient, please bring a lawn chair (just in case we run out of pool chairs). We had a good crowd of folks last year and have invited Scofield Farms to join us again.

Grab the camera….. grab the kids….. and hop on down! I’m told that Mr. Bunny plans to hide nearly 600 eggs (8 egg limit per child)! Mr. Easter Bunny himself will lead the hunt and be available to take photos with the kids afterwards.

If that isn’t enough fun for your lil’ cottontails, we’ll have a moonwalk too!

Light snacks, juice and water will be available. Your lil’ bunnies are welcome to bring their favorite Easter basket, however, Easter-themed gift bags will be provided for those without.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be no restroom services available and parking is at a premium!

Please join us on Saturday March 3, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. till Noon. We will meet at the pool parking lot for registration and to receive your supplies.

We would like to encourage Boy Scouts, Weebelos, Cub Scouts, Brownies or Girl Scouts to join us serving our Community. This would also be a good opportunity to get credit toward your Community service if you are in National Honor Society.

On clean-up day, please wear closed-toe shoes, long pants and a hat to shade you. Work gloves, trash bags, trash pickers, mosquito spray, and drinking water will be provided.

Congratulations to 1841 Chasewood Drive for snagging first place in our Home Holiday Lights Contest! 13425 Kinder Pass snagged a close second. Way to go, guys!

The Social Committee enjoyed driving around the neighborhood and viewing all the decorated homes. Determining our winners was no easy task, as each year it gets harder and harder to judge. Y’all do such an awesome job year after year!

Now I encourage y’all to grab the fam, a thermos of hot cocoa and make an evening of driving around the neighborhood to look at the lights. Both kids and adults are sure to enjoy!
